The journey to Kuredu is part of the experience itself, an unforgettable 35-minute flight offering panoramic views of the Maldives’ dazzling atolls. As you soar above turquoise waters and coral reefs, you’ll feel the anticipation build for the paradise awaiting below. To make your arrival even more comfortable, Kuredu guests enjoy access to a private lounge at the terminal, beginning your holiday in relaxation from the moment you land.

Seaplane transfer is available and are organised either by your travel agent or by Kuredu if you book online.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort for all our guests.

Your main bill can be settled by cash or credit card. We accept all major currencies, including United States Dollars (USD), British Pounds Sterling (GBP), and Euros (EUR). Please note that Maldivian Rufiyaa is not accepted. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. We recommend informing your bank of your travel plans to the Maldives to avoid any transaction issues. Payments in resort shops and outlets are cashless—you will sign a bill for each purchase, which will be added to your main account.

Traveller’s Cheques are not accepted anywhere in the Maldives.

Most nationalities are granted a visa on arrival. However, you must carry all your holiday-related documents to present at immigration.

The Maldives enjoys a warm tropical climate year-round, with a gentle sea breeze. The average air temperature is around 30°C (86°F), and the sea temperature averages 29°C (84°F). While occasional light rain may occur between May and November. We recommend using sunscreen at all times.

Checked luggage is limited to 20 kg per person. In exceptional cases, luggage may be transported separately by boat or on a later flight. All other luggage policies follow airline regulations.

Kuredu Resort offers chartered seaplane transfers with Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) between Malé Ibrahim Nasir International Airport and the resort. Flights operate daily from 06:00 to 16:00 local time. Transfers are scheduled based on your international flight details provided during booking. For late evening or night departures, the transfer will be on the latest available seaplane, usually between 13:00 and 16:00. We recommend booking a day-use room in Malé or exploring the city if your flight schedule does not align with seaplane timings. Most European GSM phones work in the Maldives and at Kuredu Resort. For details on network coverage and roaming, please visit www.dhiraagu.com and www.ooredoo.mv.

While not required throughout much of the resort, we recommend bringing aqua shoes for areas, where coral may be exposed due to natural wave and current activity.

Guests are welcome to bring drones but must notify the General Manager or Resident Manager before use. A release form must be signed, and guests must adhere to designated no-fly zones. Drone use is allowed only at the main jetty and over the house reef, but not on the island itself. Guests may also book the Dream Island excursion to capture stunning aerial footage.

Ramadan has minimal impact on guests’ holidays. The only adjustment is that dinner service starts half an hour later to accommodate prayer times.

Yes, we host gala dinners on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, along with special evening entertainment organized by our team.
