Kuredu’s award-winning treats

We all have our favourite ways to spice up our time at Kuredu Resort & Spa, Maldives.
Our 6-time repeater guest Mike is happiest when he can sing his well-liked tunes underwater (see how that’s possible here). Gina, who’s been at the resort 30 times, likes to hit the gym to keep fit. Even after their 35 holidays with us, there is no record of Terri ever skipping her morning walk down the jetty to see Laurie off as he goes diving.
And our Team members?
You will see Bibi, the HR Manager, Ken, the General Manager, and Jody, the Golf Pro, playing like the pros at the tennis court. The Special Events, Reservations and Front Office ladies, among others, are leading a healthy and happy lifestyle, adding great vigor to anything they do to make your stay flawless and remarkable.
But as different as our favourite things to do at Kuredu may be, we have one thing in common: we all take our hats off to our Food and Beverage wizards, who not only make guests’ and Team members’ meals a real feast, but also act as Kuredu’s ambassadors at various international events.
Mid-August saw another display of Kuredu’s Chefs’ talents and skills. At the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives International Culinary Challenge and Exhibition in Male, a 7-member Team represented Kuredu and they have again proven that our Kitchens are a real breeding ground for culinary ideas.
That said, we are pleased to have Palaitha, Moorthy, Sam Peter, Asanka, Nihal, Hasintha and Miss Sarpu on our Team. At the recent expo, they all competed against many of the country’s top resort Chefs and have earned great recognition: distinction gold medal, gold medal, silver medal and four bronze medals.
