Around the resorts in the Maldives, nature is putting its best on display and lets you get up close and personal with one of the Earth’s most ancient creatures, the sea turtle. It’s been uncovered that the waters around Kuredu are a real treasure.
Located only 5 degrees north of the Equator, Kuredu receives plenty of sun throughout the year and not tapping into this vast potential of renewable energy would be a chance missed. We are glad to be able to announce that we are adding more solar power to the island’s energy mix.
Kuredu has been keeping in step with tech and is proud to have its own desalination plant. Using reverse osmosis, a water purification technology, we can produce fresh water from seawater. The equipment is top of the line, producing an impressive 600,000 liters of fresh water every day.
