COVID 19 Update, CEO’s Message

Dear Valued Guests,
In less than a week, the global novel coronavirus outbreak has evolved from one of general alerts and watchfulness to an escalating public health issue.
I would like to personally address the ongoing temporary preventive measure on Kuredu Island Resort & Spa due to four expatriate team-members tested positive for COVID19. As we continue to cooperate with the Maldives Health Protection Agency and the Ministry of Health, following their advice and guidance to prevent further spread of the disease, we highly urge guests who stayed in Kuredu Island Resort & Spa between February 23, 2020, and March 6, 2020, to take necessary precautionary measures, should they have any of the following symptoms:
• Respiratory Symptoms
• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of Breath
• Breathing Difficulties
Should you have any of the above symptoms, kindly get in touch immediately with your local health authorities. More information from the World Health Organisation can be found here: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public
We reiterate that our responsibility to our guests, employees and the public remains our highest priority. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Sincerely,
Martin Vossen,
Chief Executive Officer, Crown & Champa Resorts.
