Introducing Kuredu’s New Food & Beverage Manager Mariusz Siwkowski

Kuredu is pleased to introduce you to the resort’s new Food and Beverage Manager Mariusz Siwkowski, who joined us here in the Maldives in mid-January. Mariusz, originally from Halle/Saale, Germany, has had an eventful first month at Kuredu, and we’re glad to hear that his first impressions are nothing short of amazing: ‘Kuredu is already like a family to me, not just because of the great and friendly team, but of course also thanks to our fantastic and welcoming guests.’
Mariusz gained experience in F&B in a number of well-established properties in Germany, Switzerland and England, and as much as didn’t really consider leaving Berlin, it took him exactly 5 minutes to accept the flattering offer to become Kuredu’s new F&B Manager. ‘You don’t turn down such a great opportunity to combine pleasure and work in paradise!’
If you’re coming to Kuredu in the near future and you still have several dining-related questions (hmmmmm….Veli Dinner or Candlelight Dinner?) that are keeping you awake at night, Mariusz happily shares some advice:
Recommended dishes at each of Kuredu’s a la carte restaurants:
The Beach Restaurant: Lobster
The Far East: Sushi & Sashimi
Franco’s: Mussels
Tip on how to spend a wonderful late afternoon on the island:
Wine tasting at the Sangu Wine Cellar. Sreejith, our sommelier, gives our exceptionally good wine selection a new face and loves to share his knowledge and passion with guests. For wine aficionados and all those who know that about zero ‘perfect holiday’ stories ever started with someone drinking a glass of milk, the wine tasting should certainly be experienced.
We wish Mariusz a warm welcome on the Kuredu team and wish him the best of time at the resort. Mariusz and his team are already planning the next big event: a candlelit dinner for all guests to celebrate Earth Hour; we’ll be switching the lights off on 25th March.
