Sunny greetings from the Maldives!
The last month has been another amazing few weeks in paradise with many happy holidays enjoyed. We never tire of seeing the look of awe on the faces of our arriving guests as they step off the seaplane and realise the reality of the Maldives’ beauty really is better than dreamed it would be. Even before you arrive, the beauty of nature unfolds below during your seaplane flight – tiny islands lapped by clear blue water look every bit as stunning as in the many pictures you can find online – no editing required! Once here, you only need to don a mask and peek at the shallow reefs to get a glimpse of the abundance of life in our oceans and I’ve yet to meet someone who hasn’t been thrilled by the sight of the sea turtles grazing on the sea grass meadows!
At Kuredu, we want you to make the most of your time here and leave feeling refreshed and ready to tackle whatever life may throw at you until your next holiday. Mid-June, our local community celebrated Eid ul-Adha, one of the holiest holidays of the Islamic calendar and we would like to wish Eid Mubarak to all our friends and family across the world who celebrated this holy festival. Later this month, on 26th July, Maldives Independence Day will celebrate 59 years of independence and in keeping with the theme of celebrations, we still have fantastic festive season program to look forward to at the end of the year. We have been very busy planning an exciting Christmas and New Year and will soon be able to share the plans with you – keep an eye on our latest news and social media accounts for sneak previews of what lies ahead.
