The Kuredu Cup, now in its third successful year, kicked off this week with the host football team playing Atmosphere Kanifushi or as they prefer to be known – AKF. Kuredu are the current holders of the Cup, and we hope this year they will once again lift the prestigious trophy.

Altogether there will be ten matches in the tournament, with the final taking place on 31st August. This year sees a team from neighboring Hurawalhi taking part for the first time, with the players taking time out from their busy construction schedule.

After four matches, we have already seen six goals from Kuredu’s super striker, Asjou, who works in Guest Transportation. Habeeb from the main reception has slotted in three great goals, while his team mate Aneef is hot on the heels with two strikes.

If you are on Kuredu on the 31st August, make sure you come and lend your support to the team as they have progressed to the final and are one step closer on this year’s campaign to once again to lift the Kuredu Cup! As the Kuredu team’s motto states ‘All for One, One for All’.
