Kuredu joins Earth Hour 2018

On Saturday Kuredu will be joining millions of others around the world in switching off the lights for Earth Hour 2018. Set up as a grassroots movement, Earth Hour encourages people to turn off non-essential lights for one hour, with the aim to boost awareness of the need to help protect the environment amid growing concern over climatic change.
This year to show our support for this environmental movement Kuredu will switch off our lights for one hour between 19:30-20:30 on March 24th and would like to invite all guests to do the same. During this time, a special event at the main pool area will take place with live music, drinks and canapés. Guest will also get to enjoy dining by candle light in all the buffet restaurants, as we enjoy an evening without electric lighting.
The incredible environment and marine life of the Maldives is believed to be particularly susceptible to the impact of climate change, and Kuredu has always looked to help protect the local wildlife and promote environmental initiatives.
