Greetings from the Maldives! Kuredu has been a hive of activity over the last few weeks – we’ve welcomed lots of special repeater guests to the resort and celebrated our 36th Anniversary! Our birthday celebrations included our traditional Anniversary Cup football tournament, a cultural show and, on the big day itself, 4th December, the anniversary cake cutting. I’d like to thank each one of you who have supported Kuredu over the past 36 years, it’s a pleasure to be hosting your holidays and the resort would not be the success it is today without you. It wasn’t just our birthday, it was also Prodivers’ birthday too. Prodivers has been providing incredible diving and snorkelling activities to Kuredu’s guests since the day the resort opened, introducing many of you to the Maldives’ awesome marine life.
More celebrations are just around the corner with the festive season, and we’ve been busy behind the scenes preparing for lots of fun for you all to enjoy. If you will be joining us, make sure you pack your party clothes, dancing flip flops and something white to wear for our White Party! Santa always manages to make time in his busy schedule to visit Kuredu and he usually arrives in style so if you will be with us on Christmas Day, keep a look out for the man in red!
Aside from partying and preparing for parties, island life at Kuredu has been punctuated with incredible encounters with the gentle giants of the ocean – manta rays. Manta season continues into the spring so if you want to see them and will be spending the festive season here, write it on your list for Santa and visit our special offers page – if you’ve been good, you may get what you ask for!
If you will be spending the festive season at home with friends and family, I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy start to 2025; if you’re currently packing those party clothes for a festive celebration at Kuredu, don’t forget to download our App to pre-book your events and I’ll see you soon!
Merry Christmas,
With very best wishes,
Jorge Amaro
