Greetings from Kuredu! It’s hard to believe that yet another month in paradise has flown by and it’s been great that so many of you choosing our resort for your holidays. It’s fantastic to see the stresses of everyday life replaced by fun, laughter, and relaxed tropical vibes, just moments after arrival and continue for the duration of your stay.
Anyone who has been to the Maldives or has it on their bucket list is almost certainly aware of the treasures that lie below the surface of the Indian Ocean and over the next few months, the magnificent manta rays will be a big part of the Kuredu story. If you haven’t experienced being in the water with these graceful giants, your holiday with us is a great time to make it a first – go snorkelling, go diving, and simply spend as much time out on the boats as you can for the best chance of a manta encounter – the recent early sightings plankton bloom in Lhaviyani Atoll bode well for a fantastic manta season ahead!
Thank you to all who joined us for the 2024 Clean Up the World event towards the end of September – we cleaned reefs, beaches and island areas of any rubbish washed in by the ocean currents – a great team effort to complement the daily beach cleaning undertaken to keep our island paradise beautiful. October is set to be spooktacular with preparations for our Halloween celebrations going well and if you will be with us for the scariest day of the year, on 31st October, you can look forward to frighteningly good time full of tricks and treats!
