The final night of 2016 was marked in style at Kuredu Maldives Resort – with a special themed Star Wars Glow Party.

The New Year’s Eve theme was inspired by the new Star Wars movie, ‘Rogue One’, which was filmed on location in the Maldives; Planet Scarif was depicted by the beautiful Maldives Atolls and in one iconic scene Storm Troopers wade through the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean.

Guests partied and danced the night away in Babuna Bar, which was transformed into something of a Star Wars set with massive led star curtains, numerous props from the legendary movies, glow posters and the use of laser lights.

The party marked a great finale to a great year. One behalf of the whole team at Kuredu, we would like to wish you all a healthy and Happy New Year and we hope to welcome you again to the resort in 2017!
