We know that a lot of families like to visit us over the summer months, and Prodivers have a number of activities running specially for our younger guests wanting to get involved in the snorkelling and diving around Kuredu: dedicated kids’ snorkelling introductions, family snorkel boats and PADI Bubblemaker dive programs.

Kids Snorkelling Introduction

If it is the first time your young ones are experiencing the snorkelling, then we would recommend starting with an introduction. Snorkel introductions are run 3 times a week, but every Friday a special introduction for children is run by our trained guides to help make those first steps easier and safer. These kids sessions are available for all children aged 4 and above, plus their parents (one adult is required to stay with the child at all times).

Family Snorkel Boats

For the best family adventure, hop on one of the family snorkel boats. These are ideal for those already comfortable in the water. These trips will take you to sheltered sites around the atoll where the whole family can admire the beauty of coral reefs and look for Nemos.

PADI Bubblemaker

If floating on the surface isn’t enough for the younger members of your party, then the PADI Bubblemaker program is a great way for those aged 8-10 to first experience the world of scuba diving. Our multilingual instructor team take them out into our lagoon, where they learn the important safety aspects of diving, through games, fun and exploration. Coming face to face with Kuredu’s local inhabitants, such as green sea turtles, is of course an added bonus.

Children over the age 10 are invited to join the Discover Scuba Diving program and/or the PADI Open Water Course.
