When on holiday you want to celebrate, that’s why on Kuredu we provide you with plenty of opportunities to dance the night away with your friends and family. With a weekly schedule offering a diverse selection of entertainment choices there will be something to excite everyone, as well as plenty of options for those preferring a quiet and relaxed evening.
White Night Party
The best party in the Maldives happens every Friday night, Kuredu’s famous White Night. On the decks with your favourite tunes you’ll often find DJ Vifak, the Maldives’ most renowned DJ, and our resident DJ – Lakvinda. To help build the atmosphere the Babuna Bar is decorated to beautiful effect, and guests are encouraged to follow the “wear-white” dress code.
Live Music
If live music is your thing, then you will love our live band events, often featuring Equatic Vibe, one of the Maldives most talented bands. Playing the greatest hits form the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, along with guest requests Live Band night is one of the most popular evenings in the Kuredu week, and guaranteed to get you dancing. Throughout the week our talented in house musicians will also perform acoustic sets around the island, offering a more relaxed option for those preferring the quiet side of life.
Retro Pool Party
Party by the water, under the stars with Kuredu’s Pool Party. As we transform the main pool area into one large dance floor, our inhouse DJ plays the best tracks from the 70’s & 80’s through to modern hits, whilst bubble machines and laser shows help get you in the mood.
Maldivian Culture Show
Experience traditional Maldivian music and dance with our Bodu-Beru band, a traditional style of music, comprised solely of drums and singers. The enchanting performance put on by our team members during the Maldivian cultural night is accompanied by demonstrations of traditional Maldivian crafts, where you have the chance to try your hand at things such as palm weaving.
Learn from the Masters
Our talented and experienced bar and kitchen team members offer various classes throughout the week, including fruit carving, sushi making and the firm favourite cocktail making (and tasting!). Pick up a new skill to impress your friends and family with back home.
