Kurendhoo Island is a local island with a population of about 1,800. Kurendhoo has a history as old as the Maldives itself. The island is typical of Maldivian habited islands complete with local school, hospital, government administration offices, ancient monuments, and the very charm of local habitation. Kurendhoo has good shopping options in producing and selling UNDP endorsed project “Authentic Maldivian Handicraft”, an international effort to keep traditional crafts alive.

Depending on weather and sea conditions, we will stop at one of Lhaviyani's beautiful reefs for a snorkel. Bring along your snorkelling gear and plunge into an experience that will leave a lasting memory of your holiday at Kuredu Resort & Spa. While you are exploring the reef and getting a hypnotising fusion of nature and peace, a tasty lunch will be prepared on board to give you energy for the remainder of your day in paradise.

Being an Islamic country, consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited outside the resorts. To pay respect to the local culture, women are asked to cover their shoulders and knees when visiting a local island. Wearing footwear is advised.
