Sunny greetings from Kuredu!

We are still revelling in the Maldives’ high season, the weather here has been predictably incredible: lots of sun, calm ocean, and high temperatures – perfect for enjoying the best of the Maldives. The beauty of our destination is evident even as your international flight descends, the atolls lying in the Indian Ocean look every bit as enticing as expected, and it just keeps getting better. Both on land and in the ocean, pristine displays of nature will make you pinch yourself just to check if they are real.

At the end of March, we celebrated Earth Hour and switched off the power to shine a light on the plight of our planet. Along with millions of others worldwide, we helped create a wave of darkness across the globe, and in doing so, we reminded ourselves of the small steps we can all take to protect the beautiful planet we call home.

The start of April coincided with the start of Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, and many of our team members are fasting between sunrise and sunset. Our guests won’t notice any difference during this holy month, the holidays go on regardless with full service in operation at resorts. This month will also see the Easter Bunny pay us a visit with fun activities available to be enjoyed by all. Kids and adults alike can join the celebrations culminating with the traditional Easter Egg Hunt where spectacular prizes can be won. We hope all who join us have an ‘eggciting’ time!
