‘Ice’ may not be among the words commonly associated with the Maldives, but there is something we’d like you to see. Take a look at the below movie that shows Kuredu’s talented ice sculpturer, Jeewantha, as he transforms ice into beautiful creations, which are used as buffet decoration and for special events.

Besides ice art, the 28-year-old Jeewantha possesses an amazing talent for fruit and vegetable carving, as well as for creating stunning sculptures from sand, wood and other materials. He has received several awards and conducts carving classes to share his passion with Kuredu guests.
