New Faces at Kuredu: Sreejith Menon, Assistant Sommelier

A wise man told us the other day that ‘Life is too short to think about ups and downs. It’s better to follow your passion, drink wine and travel to achieve your dreams.’ This clever man’s name is Sreejith Menon and he is the recently appointed Assistant Sommelier at Kuredu, Maldives.

The young Indian native describes the wine cellar inside the Sangu Restaurant a ‘small world of passion’, and with more than 1,000 premium, exclusively available wines, we couldn’t have put it better ourselves. One of Sree’s career highlights is having been a finalist at the Indian Sommelier Championship in 2015, so you can certainly trust his expertise.

Nothing enhances a meal more than a wine that goes nicely with it, and even though your knowledge of wines may be limited to occasional enjoyment of house brands by the glass, a holiday at a place like Kuredu almost calls for a adding a little indulgence to it.
