Top 5 things to Do in the Maldives When the Kids are in Kids’ Club

The Maldives is not a holiday destination that caters exclusively to honeymooners and couples after quiet relaxation. It can be, but there is plenty for families with kids to enjoy too – given that you choose the right resort. In addition to accommodation and facilities reserved for adults, Kuredu is a popular family-friendly island thanks to the country’s largest kids’ club (this is how it looks like) and of course also thanks to the resort’s wide array of activities that allow the parents to have some much-needed quality time alone themselves.
We know you love your little angels, but there is also no need for you to feel guilty if you offload your responsibility to entertain them to the lovely kids’ club team (such as Sony here) so you can have an hour or three to enjoy the summertime on and around Kuredu. FYI: There’s even babysitting available!
If we were you, we would not waste a minute after dropping them off and rush to following:
Over-water spa treatment. Visit the O Spa to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating couples’ massage or other treatment with the added bonus: admiring the fish underneath the massage table. See what’s on offer here.
Go for a dive. We know how special it is to be diving with your favourite buddy! Your kids will be in good hands while you and your partner experience the varied marine life on dive sites very close to the island. Find out more…
Join a wine tasting session. Allow our sommelier to walk you through some of the excellent wines available at the Sangu wine cellar, and mingle with other guests in the adults-only Sangu resort.
Take a golf lesson. If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at golf, this is your chance! Sign up for a lesson or, if you’re already an avid golfer, play the 6 par 3 holes. Book a lesson…
5.8 Undersea Restaurant. Yes, dining at the world’s largest all-glass restaurant at the neighbouring Hurawalhi during a holiday with your kids is doable! You can book your rendezvous below the sea here.
